As outer strands of the rope go through crimping wheels, the strand becomes thicker – metal cross sectional area increases, strand form becomes smoother, and round, therefore the following advantages are achieved:

• increased wear resistance of wires
• decreased blocks groove wearing
• high tensile strength
• higher lateral compression strength

These advantages extend the operational life of the rope and significantly reduce operating costs.

The ropes are applied for hoisting at Р&Н 2800 type excavators

• increased wear resistance of wires
• decreased blocks groove wearing
• high tensile strength
• higher lateral compression strength

Organic fillers (OF) inside the rope serve as additional lubrication source which enables to protect the core from corrosion and reduce friction between rope core and outer strands.

Polymer material between the independent wire rope core and the outer strands protects the core from corrosion and decreases wire wear caused by strand friction on the core

These advantages extend the operational life of the rope and significantly reduce operating costs.

Product description

These wire ropes have a combined three-wire core and three organic fillers and offer a set of technological advantages compared to ropes manufactured according to GOST 16853-88: increased wear resistance and reduced impact load on the rope.

Basic advantages of ropes with compacted outer strands TU049 (type 2) are:

• high tensile strength;
• increased abrasive resistance of strand wires and rope strands;
• reduced wear of blocks and drums due to the increased area of contact with the rope bearing surface.

These advantages extend the operational life of the rope and significantly reduce operating costs.

Construction

• Type 1 6х26WS + 3х19W+3 organic fillers (OF) without compacted strands;
• Type 2 6х26WS + 3х19W + 3 OF with compacted outer strands.
